We are seeking a Board-Certified OB/GYN to join a well-established OB-Hospitalist program providing 24-hour in-house coverage in Athens, OH. This role offers a collaborative, supportive environment focused on quality, safety, and continuity of care.

Program Overview
A successful OB-Hospitalist program built on collaboration among hospital staff, community obstetricians, family practice physicians, and subspecialists. This cohesive, team-based model improves clinical outcomes, enhances patient experience, and supports safe, efficient care delivery.
Job Responsibilities
24-hour in-house coverage for obstetric and gynecologic emergencies
Management of OB/GYN emergency department patients
Multidisciplinary OB critical care involvement
Real-time communication with community and office-based physicians regarding triage visits, new issues, and deliveries
Support best practices to ensure continuity, quality, and patient safety
Qualifications
Minimum of 1 year of recent clinical experience – REQUIRED
Ohio license preferred (or in process) or active IMLC compact eligibility
CV required in MM/YYYY format with all gaps explained
Self-Query NPDB (pulled within the last 30 days) – REQUIRED
Working Hours
Athens, OH is located in eastern Ohio, near the Pennsylvania border
Less than 2 hours from Columbus, OH
Approximately 2 hours from Cleveland, OH
Within driving distance of Pittsburgh, PA and Northern West Virginia
