OB/GYN Site Director – Hospitalist Program

Hendrick Medical Center | Abilene, TX

Hendrick Medical Center in Abilene, TX is seeking an experienced OB/GYN Hospitalist Site Director to lead a well-established and collaborative women’s services program. This is a unique opportunity to combine clinical practice with physician leadership, while maintaining excellent work/life balance.

About the Role

The Site Director serves as the clinical leader for the OB/GYN Hospitalist program, working closely with hospital administration, nursing leadership, and OBHG Medical Directors to ensure high-quality, safe, and efficient patient care.

This role includes protected leadership time in addition to clinical responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical leadership for the OB/GYN Hospitalist team

  • Support quality improvement, patient safety, and program growth

  • Collaborate with hospital leadership, nursing, and community OBs

  • Assist with scheduling, onboarding, and physician mentorship

  • Maintain clinical practice as an OB/GYN Hospitalist
