Position Overview
We are seeking an MD/DO OB Hospitalist to fill a coverage gap at a well-supported facility in Bellingham, WA. This role includes both inpatient coverage and OB Emergency Department (OB ED) responsibilities.
You will be the only OB Hospitalist on site, with support from clinic-based OBGYNs who regularly round on the unit.
Schedule

12-hour shifts

Days: 7:00 AM β 7:00 PM

Nights: 7:00 PM β 7:00 AM

Approximately 8 shifts per month

Combination of day and night shifts
-
Site will try to schedule shifts consecutively for travel convenience (not guaranteed)

Provider may work 4β5 consecutive 12s in a week when possible
Practice Setting

Inpatient OB + OB ED (outpatient component)

13-bed unit
-
Average 10 patients per day

Adult women only
-
No call required

Requirements

MD or DO

Board Eligible or Board Certified (OB/GYN)

Required procedures: C-sections

Recent experience:
Documentation of OB/GYN services within the last 24 months
(Waived if training completed within the past year) -
Certifications: BLS, ACLS

EMR: EPIC
Licensing

Washington license preferred at presentation

IMLC accepted

Site is willing to assist with licensing
