Required Skills:
  • Medical degree (MD or DO) with board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
  • Valid state medical license or eligibility to obtain one.
  • Extensive clinical experience in obstetric and gynecologic care.
  • Ability to manage emergent and complex cases such as hysterectomies, ectopic pregnancies, ovarian cystectomies, hysteroscopies, IUD insertions, abscesses, post-hysterectomy complications, and exploratory laparotomies.
  • Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and patient care skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a high-pressure environment.

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Experience working in busy emergency or hospital settings.
  • Additional certifications in advanced obstetric procedures.
  • Bilingual abilities to serve diverse patient populations.
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records and healthcare technology.

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • MD or DO degree with completion of OB-GYN residency.
  • At least 2 years of post-residency clinical practice in obstetrics and gynecology.
  • Prior experience working in high-acuity or emergency settings is highly desirable.

Other Requirements:
  • Ability to work in-house call shifts for multiple days per month, including scheduled dates as provided.
  • Willingness to work long hours during assigned shifts with no overtime unless staying beyond scheduled 24-hour periods.
  • Successful completion of all necessary credentialing, licensure, and certifications.
  • Commitment to patient safety, confidentiality, and adherence to medical standards.
