Schedule: Looking for providers who are able to cover several in house 24-hour call shifts per month on a long term ongoing basis
Clinic details
Practice Setting: This is a busy, high acuity practice. Providers see emergent cases that come through the Emergency Dept and would include hysterectomy, ectopic pregnancy, D&C, ovarian cystectomy; hysteroscopy; IUD insertions; abscess; post hysterectomy complications; exploratory laparotomy. There are 5 midwives that practice in the group and help support the MD providers on L&D.
Patient Volume: 25 patients per shift
Support Staff: PA/NPs: 13
Cases/Procedures: Low risk pregnancy, High risk pregnancy, FHR interpretation - NST/CST/FSE, OB Ultrasounds - Performance of, interpretation, Routine delivery (Vaginal, Low forceps, Decision-making for c-section, Complicated delivery, C-section, Breech, Multiple births, Abruptions, VBAC's, Repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations) Surgical gynecology – Open, Laparoscopic diagnostic/minor only - tubal ligation, LOA's, chronal
Tubation, Operative/major (includes diagnostic) - ectopic pregnancy, ovary removal, cystectomy, extensive LOA's
