Seeking an experienced, Board-Certified OB/GYN for a locum assignment providing 24-hour in-house hospital coverage in Silvis, Illinois. This role is fully inpatient-based on the labor and delivery floor and requires hands-on management of obstetric patients, deliveries, and emergency gynecologic cases. Ideal for physicians comfortable with high-acuity OB coverage and independent decision-making.
Job Responsibilities
• Manage obstetric patients including triage, labor, and deliveries
• Perform vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections
• Manage emergency gynecologic cases and inpatient consultations
• Evaluate and treat all OB triage patients seen during call
• Utilize Cerner EMR for clinical documentation
Qualifications
• Board Certified in OB/GYN – Required
• Active Illinois medical license or IMLC with LOQ – Required
• Proven OB/GYN experience – Required
• Clean malpractice history with no background issues – Required
• NPDB Self-Query (within 30 days) – Required
Working Hours
• Shifts per Month: 6–8 shifts
• Weekend coverage required
• On-call responsibilities included (in-house)
