Job description
Seeking an OB/GYN locum tenens physician to provide beeper call coverage at a Level III trauma center in Oregon. This is an inpatient call-only assignment with assigned patient rounding. The site averages 1-2 patients per shift and approximately 240 deliveries annually. The hospital is a Level III trauma facility with PEDs Level I and can accept multiple providers.
Job Responsibilities
• Manage low- and high-risk obstetrical patients, performing routine and complicated deliveries including C-sections, VBACs, breech, multiple births, and decision-making for C-sections.
• Perform repair of 3rd and 4th degree lacerations.
• Provide gynecologic surgical coverage including laparoscopic and open procedures.
• Conduct patient rounding, respond to phone consults, and manage admissions during on-call shifts.
Qualifications
• Active Oregon medical license (required).
