Schedule:
- Patient Contact Hours: 24 hour in-house hospital coverage (The locum is required to be onsite for 24-hour stretches)
- Shifts per month: 6-8 shifts per month
- Shift length: 24 hours (in-house)
- Procedure/OR days: As Needed
Details:
- Inpatient Responsibilities: Yes, labor and delivery floor at the Silvis Campus
- Telehealth: No
- Services offered in the practice: Vaginal deliveries, C-sections, circumcisions
- Number of Exam Rooms per provider: N/A (Hospital-based coverage only)
- Lab & Pharmacy: Yes
- Clinic Provider Daily Volume: 10-15 triages a day plus deliveries
- All OB Triages are to be seen by the physician on call.
- Patient Demographics: Primarily obstetric and gynecologic patients
- EMR: Cerner
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide 24-hour in house call coverage on the labor & delivery floor, including management of obstetric patients, deliveries, emergency gynecologic cases and inpatient consultations.
