Required Skills:
- Active North Carolina medical license and NC DEA registration.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
- Proven experience in delivering babies, with case logs from the past 24 months.
- Enrolled with PECOS, NC Medicaid, and NC Medicare.
- Fully vaccinated against preventable diseases.
- No recent or open malpractice cases; clean disciplinary record.
- Strong clinical skills in high-risk deliveries, on-call procedures, and GYN emergencies.
- Ability to work within hospital protocols and support staff collaboration.
- Excellent communication and patient care skills.
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with high-risk pregnancy management.
- Skills in emergent surgical procedures beyond routine care.
- Prior experience in hospitalist settings.
- Familiarity with hospital electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments with a flexible schedule.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
- At least 2 years of post-residency practice experience in OB-GYN.
- Experience working in hospital-based settings, particularly in obstetric emergency care.
Other Requirements:
- Must have NC licensure, NC DEA, and valid NPI number.
- Ability to be within 20 minutes of the hospital per bylaws.
- Willingness to work on-call, including emergent C-sections and GYN procedures.
- Able to travel, with travel costs capped at $500.
- Providing case logs and detailed clinical history upon application.
