–Low risk Pregnancy
– Routine and complicated vaginal deliveries - Low forceps
– Vaginal and C-section deliveries
– C-sections, VBACs, breech, multiple gestations, abruptions
– Decision-making for C-section
– Repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations
– Amniocentesis
– OB ultrasounds (Level I & II)
– NST/CST/FSE interpretation
– Minor and operative gynecologic procedures
– Surgical gynecology - Open
– Laparoscopic diagnostic/minor only - tubal ligation, LOA's, chronal tubation
– Operative/major (includes diagnostic) - ectopic pregnancy, ovary removal, cystectomy, extensive LOA's
– Laser certification
• Beds in the Dept: 14 postpartum beds; 3 labor rooms
• EMR: Meditech 6.1

Requirements:
• Active North Carolina medical license
• Active NC DEA with NC address
• Board Certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology
• NC Medicaid credentialed
• Medicare/PECOS enrollment (must be current)
• Actively delivering babies (case logs from past 12–24 months required)
• Clean malpractice history (no recent or open cases)
• Self-Query NPDB report (within 30 days)
• Fully vaccinated
• Ability to provide emergent OB and GYN coverage
