JOB OVERVIEW
• Job Title: OBGYN Physician
• Job Type: Locum Tenens
• Location: Jacksonville, FL
• Service Setting: Inpatient/Outpatient
• Coverage Type: Clinical + Call
• Coverage Period: March 16, 2026 – Ongoing
• Clinical Shift Schedule: 24-hour in-house call shifts, 7:00a – 7:00a
• On-Call Shift Schedule: In-house, continuous coverage
• Call Type: In-House
COVERAGE DATES
• Start Date: March 16, 2026
• End Date: Ongoing
• Open to consecutive 24-hour call shifts
PATIENT INFORMATION
• Patient Demographics: Obstetric and gynecologic patients
• Patient Volume/Census: Approximately 80 deliveries per month
• Admissions: Yes
• Rounding: Included
• Phone Consults: As clinically appropriate
• Case Mix: Full-scope obstetrics and gynecology
FACILITY INFORMATION
• No. of Beds in Department: 6 LDRP rooms and 12 postpartum rooms
• Trauma Level: Adult Level II–IV
• Office Equipment Available: Dedicated labor and delivery and surgical suites
• Specialty Backup Available: CNM hospitalists and OB/GYN team coverage
• Support Staff Available: LCSWs, lactation consultants, educators, anesthesia, and NICU staff
• Reason for Coverage: Supplemental locum coverage
PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE
• Hospital Privileges Required: Yes
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

REQUIRED PROCEDURES
• Vaginal and cesarean deliveries
• Gynecologic surgical procedures
• Comprehensive outpatient obstetrical and gynecologic care
JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Licenses: Active Florida medical license or eligibility via IMLC
• Board: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• DEA: Active DEA required
• Certifications: As required for OB/GYN hospital privileges
• Experience: Minimum one year of experience preferred
• Other Qualifications: Strong communication skills and patient-centered approach
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide 24-hour in-house obstetric and gynecologic coverage
• Manage labor and delivery including surgical interventions
• Collaborate with CNMs and multidisciplinary care teams
• Support patient-centered care and shared decision-making
• Document all patient care accurately and timely
