Locum OB/GYN

Seeking a Locum OB/GYN to provide 24-hour in-house hospital coverage on the Labor & Delivery unit.

Practice Setting

Hospital-based, inpatient only
Labor & Delivery floor at the Silvis campus
No clinic or telehealth duties
EMR: Cerner
Onsite lab and pharmacy services

Schedule

6–8 shifts per month
24-hour in-house shifts (provider must remain onsite)
OR/procedures as needed

Clinical Responsibilities

24-hour in-house call coverage for Labor & Delivery
Management of obstetric patients
Vaginal deliveries and C-sections
Circumcisions
Emergency gynecologic cases
Inpatient OB/GYN consultations
All OB triage patients are seen by the on-call physician

Patient Volume & Population

Approximately 10–15 OB triage patients per day, plus deliveries
Primarily obstetric and gynecologic patients

Requirements

Board Certified in OB/GYN
Active Illinois medical license or IMLC LOQ
Experienced provider required
NPDB self-query (pulled within the past month) required at presentation
Clean malpractice and background preferred (reviewed case by case)
