Job description
Job description
This is an exciting opportunity for board-certified OB/GYN physicians to help build and shape a new laborist program from the ground up.
The role is well suited for experienced clinicians as well as those transitioning from private practice who are seeking a flexible, team-based care model with true work–life balance.
Physicians work 6–8 in-house 24-hour shifts per month and enjoy complete freedom on their time off, with no restrictions on outside work.
Responsibilities include labor and delivery management, care for unassigned OB patients, and in-house support for general OB and emergent GYN cases.
The program offers strong clinical resources, including 24/7 in-house anesthesia, Level III NICU support, upgraded labor and delivery and postpartum units, and a new NICU featuring private rooms and ocean views.
Compensation is competitive, with an additional $30,000 sign-on bonus available for a limited time for physicians who commit to 6–8 shifts per month and start on or before March 1, 2026.
Physicians receive employee status with a comprehensive benefits package that includes well-being resources, CME allowance, professional liability insurance with tail coverage, and ongoing access to CME, drills, and simulation training.
A collaborative team environment and dedicated clinical leadership provide the support needed to thrive in this role.
