Seeking an experienced Board-Certified OB/GYN for 24-hour in-house hospital coverage on the labor and delivery floor. This is a hospital-based locum opportunity offering consistent monthly shifts and comprehensive support services.
Practice Highlights

Labor & Delivery floor coverage (Inpatient)

6–8 shifts per month

Hospital-based role – no clinic

EMR: Cerner

Lab & Pharmacy onsite

All OB triages handled by physician on call
Scope of Practice

Vaginal deliveries
-
C-sections
-
Circumcisions
-
Emergency gynecologic cases
-
Inpatient consultations
-
Management of obstetric patients on L&D
Schedule & Coverage
-
Shift Length: 24-hour in-house shifts

Procedure / OR Days: As needed

Average Volume: 10–15 OB triages per day plus deliveries
Candidate Requirements

Board Certified in OB/GYN – REQUIRED

Active Illinois license or Active IMLC LOQ – REQUIRED

Experienced provider – REQUIRED
-
Self-Query NPDB (pulled within 30 days) – REQUIRED
-
Clean malpractice/background – Preferred (case-by-case review)
