Locum Obstetrics/Gynecologist needed to start ASAP and work ongoing near Alpena, MI.
- Open Shifts: 2/9 @ 5pm – 2/11 @ 7am, 2/26 @ 7a - 2/27 @ 7a, 3/2 @ 7am – 3/4 @ 7am, 4/5 @ 7am – 4/6 @ 7am, 4/20 @ 7am – 4/22 @ 7am, 4/27 @ 7am – 4/29 @ 7am
- Clinical Support: One backup call (traditional OB/GYN).
- Cases/Procedures: Suction D&C, Laparoscopy, Read NST's, C/Sections, Circumcisions, Tubal Ligations
- No dedicated Anesthesia provider specific to OB. They are on call for the rest of the hospital/OR schedule as well.
- No back up OB.
- Typically deliver 35+ weeks. Occasionally have to deliver earlier preterm gestations if mother is not stable for transfer to NICO.
- Assistant will either be a surgical first assist or scrub tech.
- EMR & Dictation Tools: Epic/Dragon
- Required Experience, Training, & Certifications: BC or BE, ACLS, BLS, PALS
- Case Logs: Must be able to provide case/patient logs to show 50 deliveries and 25 GYN procedures within 12 months.
- Will consider IMLC Candidates.
- Can cross-credential at other sites to pick up additional shifts.
- Credentialing Timeframe: Typically 30d, but applications are prioritized according to start date.
