Generalist OB/GYN Opportunity in Baltimore, MD
Position Overview
Employment Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Specialty: Obstetrics & Gynecology – Generalist
Practice Setting: Inpatient and Outpatient
Schedule: Monday–Friday office hours
Call: Rotating call schedule
Telemedicine: No
Patient Population: Obstetric and Gynecologic
Practice & Program Highlights
High-volume obstetrics program with approximately 1,800 deliveries annually
CARF-recognized, high-performing maternity services with multiple patient safety awards
Large nonprofit teaching environment with an ACGME-accredited residency program
OB/GYN residency program with 16 residents (4 per year)
Well-established team including:
- 6 OB/GYN physicians
- 2 Advanced Practice Providers
- 16 OB/GYN residents
Academic appointment through a regional medical campus affiliated with a major medical school
Strong multidisciplinary support including:
- Growing Maternal Fetal Medicine program
- Urogynecology and Gynecologic Oncology divisions
- Registered dietician support for diabetes management
Laborist program providing coverage and support on labor & delivery
Dedicated OR block time
Robotic surgery available (DaVinci Xi); experience preferred but not required
Clinical Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive prenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care
Deliver full-spectrum general OB/GYN services
Perform gynecologic surgeries, including minimally invasive techniques
Participate in labor and delivery coverage
Teach and mentor residents within an academic training environment
Collaborate closely with subspecialty and multidisciplinary teams
Qualifications
MD or DO from an accredited medical school
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology
Completion of an ACGME-accredited OB/GYN residency
Eligible for Maryland medical licensure and DEA
Robotic and minimally invasive surgery experience a plus
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based academic environment

Compensation & Benefits
Guaranteed base salary range: $275,000–$325,000
