Director of Women’s Health – Leadership Opportunity
Location: Austin, TX
Employment Type: Full-Time, permanent position
Position Overview
The Director of Women’s Health is responsible for medical leadership, clinical oversight, and patient care strategy for Women’s Health services across the organization. This role establishes standards of care, leads performance improvement initiatives, and supports provider wellness within the Women’s Health department. The Director works closely with executive leadership to develop and execute strategic priorities and ensure high-quality, coordinated care for patients.
Position Highlights

Responsibilities
* Provide clinical leadership and direction for Women’s Health services
* Establish and maintain standards of care and quality initiatives
* Oversee performance improvement infrastructure and workflows
* Support provider wellness and departmental engagement
* Coordinate integration of ambulatory and hospital-based services
* Develop strong partnerships with key healthcare and community stakeholders
* Participate in the training of medical students, residents, and fellows
* Serve as primary liaison between Women’s Health faculty and the organization
* Utilize data-driven metrics to monitor and enhance performance
* Align departmental initiatives with organizational strategic goals
Qualifications
* Board-certified physician in an appropriate Women’s Health specialty
* Eligible for academic faculty appointment
* Demonstrated experience in clinical leadership
* Background in performance improvement and quality programs
* Strong communication and collaboration skills
* Commitment to patient-centered care
