Position Overview: • Primarily outpatient-focused with inpatient responsibilities for deliveries and gynecologic surgery. • Standard clinic schedule: 36 patient-facing hours plus 4 hours of administrative time weekly. • Shared call rotation typically 1:7–1:8. • Team structure includes 8 OBGYN physicians, 1 GYN APP, and 2 Certified Nurse Midwives. • Dedicated nursing support. • Cerner EMR with Dragon dictation and ambient AI charting. Typical Services & Procedures: • Prenatal care and deliveries (vaginal and cesarean). • Gynecologic surgeries including hysterectomies and laparoscopic procedures. • Office-based procedures such as IUD placement and colposcopy. • Well-woman care and complex gynecologic evaluations. Labor & Delivery Environment: • Manages high-risk pregnancies up to 32 weeks gestation. • Level II nursery on site. • L&D, postpartum, nursery, and C-section ORs located on the same floor. • High-risk neonatal transfers supported through established regional protocols.
