Locums OB/GYN Opportunity – Allen, Texas
Flexible Scheduling | Strong Clinical Support | Easy Travel Assignment
We’re seeking a Board-Certified OB/GYN for a locums assignment in Allen, TX, a modern, physician-friendly community just north of Dallas. This role is ideal for providers looking to work 1–2 weeks per month with a predictable schedule and a highly collaborative care model.
📅 Schedule Highlights
- 2–3 clinic days per week
- 1 dedicated surgery day per week
- 1:4 call rotation (flexible)
- 1–2 weeks per month required (clinic + call)
- Built-in PRN coverage allows for time off without guilt
🏥 Practice & Facility Details
- 25–30 patients per day
- 1 additional OB/GYN + 2 experienced CNMs
- Level II NICU
- 14 L&D beds
- Dedicated Medical Assistant
- CNMs are first to handle deliveries and trained with Surgical First Assist
👩⚕️Scope of Practice
- Full-scope outpatient OB/GYN care
- Multiple venues for gynecologic surgery
- Call covers group patients only
- Must be comfortable with:
- D&C
- Ectopic pregnancy
- Cesarean section
