Are you an OB/GYN physician seeking an academic faculty position with a balance of clinical practice, teaching, and research in a mission-driven environment?

A respected academic medical institution in Michigan is seeking a full-time, Board-Certified or Board-Eligible OB/GYN to join its faculty team, serving a diverse and underserved patient population.

What You’ll Do

• Provide inpatient and outpatient OB/GYN care across affiliated hospitals and clinics

• Participate in attending rounds and academic work rounds

• Supervise and mentor residents and medical students in clinic, inpatient, and procedural settings

• Maintain an independent clinical practice as assigned

• Contribute to departmental research initiatives (average 1 day/month) including publications, presentations, and mentoring

• Participate in curriculum development, educational programming, and academic lectures including Grand Rounds

Faculty Responsibilities

Clinical (90%)

• Deliver high-quality OB/GYN care across multiple settings

• Provide call coverage including nights, weekends, and holidays

• Evaluate resident and student performance per ACGME standards

Research (5%)

• Conduct scholarly activity and contribute to departmental research initiatives

• Present at regional or national conferences

• Mentor trainees and contribute to peer-reviewed publications

Education (5%)

• Assist in planning and implementing residency and student education programs

• Deliver lectures and participate in conferences

• Evaluate trainees throughout all phases of training
