As an employed physician with a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), you'll be part of a patient-centered model dedicated to women's well-being across all life stages. Emphasizing preventive health, education, and collaborative support, our team handles approximately 1,400-1,500 deliveries per year with a remarkably low C-section rate of less than 5%. High-volume clinic days (around 40 patients per day) allow you to make a real impact, supported by daVinci robotics (with mentorship available if desired) and a collaborative team of 6 OB/GYNs.
Scope of Practice
- Outpatient Clinic: 3 days per week, which may include office hours and/or a surgical day at the hospital.
- Laborist Shifts: 52 in-house 24-hour shifts per year (one per week). No call duties required.
- Hospital highlights: 9 labor and delivery rooms (LDRs), 34 private mother/baby rooms, and a Level-2 NICU for pregnancies 32 weeks and above.
- Shift Expectations: Average of 5 deliveries per 24-hour shift, plus occasional OBED coverage, post-partum rounding, and GYN surgeries. Each day following a laborist shift is scheduled off.
Competitive Compensation & Benefits
- Guaranteed Salary: $350,000 - $375,000 base for a 3-year term, depending on experience.
- Salary Increases: $5,000 base increase every 6 months.
- Sign-On Bonus: $50,000, paid 30 days after start.
- Student Loan Repayment: Up to $100,000 over 2 years (available due to FQHC status).
- Paid Time Off: 4 weeks annually, applicable to clinic days only (effectively about 2.5 weeks with the 3-day clinic schedule).
