Job Title: Locum Physician - Maternal Fetal Medicine

Join an esteemed facility located in Midlothian, Virginia, known for its commitment to providing exceptional maternal-fetal care. The practice offers both office and inpatient coverage, primarily focused on high-risk pregnancies. You'll be part of a dedicated team with resources like onsite ultrasound and a supportive staff, including RN clinic educators and sonographers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive care for high-risk pregnancies, including amniocentesis and chorionic villus sampling.
• Manage patient schedules and conduct daily examinations with an average of 27 patients.
• Collaborate with another MFM provider for patient coverage at two separate facilities.
• Utilize EPIC and Viewpoint EMR systems for seamless patient documentation.
• Participate in weekend and weekday on-call duties as required.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Maternal Fetal Medicine.
• Completion of an accredited fellowship in Maternal Fetal Medicine.
• Must hold a valid Virginia medical license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• AIUM Certification preferred.
• Must be willing to be submitted to multiple locations for consideration.
• A self-query NPDB report, dated within 30 days of presentation, is mandatory.

License and Certification Requirements:

• Active Virginia medical license.
• Board Certification in Maternal Fetal Medicine (Required).
• Fellowship training in Maternal Fetal Medicine (Required).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (Required).
