Job description Seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible OB/GYN to provide full-scope women’s health services in a hospital-based practice. This role offers a collaborative care model with midwife support, advanced surgical resources, and a structured call schedule with post-call relief. The position is ideal for physicians seeking a balanced mix of clinic, hospital, and procedural work in a supportive team environment.

Mission-driven, patient-centered culture with a strong focus on access, quality, and continuity of care. Providers work closely with midwives, nurses, and support staff to deliver coordinated, compassionate women’s health services.

Scope of Services: Full-scope Obstetrics and Gynecology including prenatal care, labor and delivery, postpartum care, routine and complex gynecologic care, IUD insertions, biopsies, deliveries, emergency C-sections, and other procedures based on provider skillset. Robotic-assisted surgery and modern diagnostic resources are available.

Compensation: Base salary approximately $400,000 (DOE) with potential earnings up to $550,000 depending on RVUS, and sign-on bonus!

Job Responsibilities

- Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care in clinic and hospital settings
- Manage prenatal care, labor and delivery, and postpartum care
- Perform routine OB/GYN procedures (e.g., IUDs, biopsies, deliveries) based on skillset
- Participate in an on-call rotation, including emergency C-sections
- Collaborate with Certified Nurse Midwives and clinical support staff
- Utilize available surgical and robotic technology when appropriate
- Document care accurately and comply with clinical and quality standards

Qualifications

- Medical degree from an accredited school of medicine
- State of Michigan unrestricted MD or DO licensure
- Registered with current DEA certificate
- One year of practice experience, preferred

Working Hours

The position is full-time in Hancock, MI, and includes a mix of clinic and hospital-based hours. Providers participate in an on-call rotation that involves alternating on-call coverage with approximately two surgery days per week. Post-call relief is provided following on-call shifts to support work-life balance.
