Sound clinical judgment, professionalism, and proficiency with current medical protocols are required.
Extra skills such as experience in neonatal intensive care, familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR), and knowledge of government payor programs like Medicaid are advantageous but not mandatory. Fluency in additional languages and certifications in advanced obstetric procedures will be considered assets.
Candidates should possess a medical degree (MD or DO) with board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology. Prior clinical experience, ideally with a focus on inpatient and outpatient women's health, is preferred. Applicants must hold an active medical license in Arkansas, an active Arkansas DEA registration, and be compliant with all state and federal healthcare regulations.
Additional requirements include participation in a 24/7 healthcare environment, capacity to handle high patient volumes, and adherence to hospital policies. While travel is not frequently expected, reimbursements for licensure, certifications, and related expenses are provided when applicable.
