Assignment Overview
- Start Date / End Date: ASAP – Ongoing
- Schedule: 12-hour day shifts (7AM–7PM) with 24-hour on-call coverage
Responsibilities
- Inpatient OB/GYN care
- Patient volume: 10–15 per shift
- Trauma Level II facility
- EMR: Cerner
- Bed in department: 3
- Skills required include:
- High-risk pregnancy management
- FHR interpretation (NST/CST/FSE)
- OB ultrasounds (Level I & preferred Level II)
- Routine and complicated deliveries (vaginal, C-section, VBAC, breech, multiple births)
- Repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations
- Office/minor gynecology (IUD, cystoscopy, colposcopy, cryosurgery, LEEP, etc.)
- Surgical gynecology (open, laparoscopic, diagnostic/minor, ectopic pregnancy, ovary removal, cystectomy, extensive LOAs)
