Assignment Overview
- Schedule: 24-hour call (7:00a–7:00a)
- Coverage Need: January – ongoing
- Approx. 7 call shifts per month
- At least one weekend of call per month
Facility & Practice Details
- Practice Setting: OB/GYN (hospital-based)
- Labor & Delivery Beds: 4
- Annual Deliveries: ~410
- Call Coverage: OB Department & Emergency Department
Work Details
- Volume fluctuates:
- May deliver 1–2 babies per day or none on some weekends
- Avg. 3–5 calls/day (walk-in NSTs, OB consults, etc.)
- Procedures: Primarily bread-and-butter OB
