Locums | Obstetrics & Gynecology | No Call | Russellville, AR Why This Role

  • Long-term locum coverage supporting an active OB/GYN service line
  • Outpatient-focused practice with delivery and procedural continuity
  • Opportunity for stable ongoing coverage starting January 2026
Assignment Details Start date January 1, 2026 Ongoing coverage Outpatient practice setting No call required Approximately 20 patients per shift EMR systems include Athena and Meditech No temporary privileges available Estimated credentialing timeframe approximately 45 days Clinical Details Low-risk obstetrics required High-risk obstetrics not required FHR interpretation including NST, CST, and FSE OB ultrasound performance and interpretation Level I screening ultrasounds Level II targeted anatomic ultrasounds Amniocentesis Routine vaginal deliveries Low forceps deliveries C-section decision-making Cesarean sections Breech deliveries Multiple births Selected complicated deliveries Office and minor gynecologic procedures including IUDs, cystoscopy, colposcopy, cryosurgery, and LEEP Laser certification required 16 LDRP beds and 11 postpartum beds Support staff includes medical assistants, advanced practice provider, and office staff Requirements Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology Active Arkansas medical license ACLS certification BLS certification Ability to supervise advanced practice providers Compensation Rates: Facility is accepting bids Malpractice: Provided Travel: Reimbursed
