Job Title: Locum - Physician - OB/GYN
Summary: Join our dedicated team at a prominent facility in Longmont, Colorado, where we are seeking a locum OB/GYN to provide urgent coverage for emergent GYN and OB deliveries. This role will involve working in an inpatient setting within a Trauma Level III emergency department, delivering high-quality care in a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform GYN emergencies and obstetric procedures including C-sections.
- Provide 24-hour call coverage (7a-7a).
- Participate in a rotation of approximately 9-10 shifts per month.
- Handle patient admissions and maintain a high standard of care.
- Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals.
- Utilize electronic medical records (EMR) system (EPIC) for documentation.
- Be responsive to gaps in coverage and ensure continuity of care.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified OB/GYN - Required
- Active Colorado license or Active IMLC (LOQ in hand at time of submission) - Required
- OB/GYN Residency - Required
- Clean malpractice and background record - Required
- Must be willing and able to work 24-hour shifts - Required
- Local/drive-in candidates highly preferred.
- Active DEA - Highly Preferred
License and Certification Requirements:
- Board Certification in OB/GYN.
- Active Colorado license or IMLC.
- Must maintain DEA registration throughout the assignment.
