We are seeking a skilled OB/GYN for locum tenens call coverage with responsibility for providing both obstetrics and gynecology care. The locum will cover high, low-risk pregnancies and emergent GYN surgeries in a facility known for collaborative care. Enjoy a flexible schedule with the opportunity for multiple part-time locum tenens to complete coverage.

  • Schedule: 6-8 call shifts per month, 24-hour shifts from 7:00 AM–7:00 AM
  • Patient Population: All Ages

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive OB and GYN care including handling OB inductions and supervising C-sections as needed
  • Cover routine and complicated deliveries; perform GYN surgeries
  • Participate in clinic care with an average of 18 patients per day and post-operative rounding
  • Maintain communication with support staff and facilitate patient transfers if required

Qualifications

  • Board Certification or Truly Board Eligible
  • WA State License (Highly preferred) or IMLC
  • Clean malpractice record (Highly preferred)
  • Certifications: BLS, ACLS, DEA

Working Hours

  • Varied shifts including 24-hour on-call coverage, with response time within 20 minutes
  • Expected 6-8 shifts per month over a 9-12 month assignment

Skills

  • Skilled in low and high-risk obstetrics
  • Proficient in performing C-sections, VBACs, and repairing 3rd-4th degree lacerations
  • Comfortable interpreting fetal heart rates and managing emergent GYN surgeries
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills within a multi-disciplinary team
