A hospital-based OB program in West Allis, Wisconsin is seeking an OB Hospitalist for locum tenens coverage. This position offers independent triage responsibility, occasional deliveries, and collaborative support from Certified Nurse Midwives and attending OBGYNs.
Assignment Details ASAP start Ongoing need 24-hour in-house shifts (8:00 a.m. – 8:00 a.m.) Certified Nurse Midwife support Monday–Friday, 2:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.
Practice Setting Hospital-based OB service Triage and management of patients presenting to the OB ED Back-up and assistance for attending OBGYNs in the hospital Responsible for responding to OB emergencies Admissions required
Patient Volume Average of 3,200 deliveries per year
Requirements Board Certified OB/GYN – Generalist required Fellowship required Active Wisconsin license – Required IMLC accepted
Hospital Information Hospital Stroke Certified Trauma Level IV EMR: Epic
