Locums OB/GYN | Santa Cruz, California
An outpatient women’s health clinic in Santa Cruz, California is seeking an OB/GYN for locum tenens coverage. This is a clinic-only opportunity focused on maintaining continuity of care for an underserved population, with strong on-site support and no inpatient responsibilities.
Assignment Details Start date: As soon as credentialed Credentialing timeframe: Approximately 60 days (foundation privileges only) Full-time need, five days per week
Schedule Clinic hours: 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. One-hour lunch break included
Practice Setting Outpatient clinic only Clinic required No inpatient or call responsibilities
Clinical Responsibilities Outpatient care averaging 15–20 patients per day Patient population is primarily low-risk and underserved Bilingual providers preferred
Support Staff Full-time ultrasonographer with 30+ years of experience Two RNs supporting diabetic management and NSTs
Additional Practice Information NICU Level III Seeking OBs with recent or current laborist experience Clinic experience preferred in addition to laborist background Candidates with primarily GYN or aesthetics-focused backgrounds not preferred Local candidates in the greater Bay Area preferred
Requirements Board Certified – Required ACGME-accredited OB/GYN residency – Required Active California license – Required DEA, BLS, and ACLS – Required Non-issued files/licenses only
