Job Responsibilities - Manage deliveries, averaging one per day. - Participate in a 1:4 call rotation including weekends. - Perform routine and complicated deliveries including C-sections and high-risk births as required. - Collaborate with APPs and nursing staff using Meditech Expanse EMR for documentation and patient management.
Qualifications - Board Certified or Board Eligible in OB/GYN - Completion of an ABOG or AOA-accredited OB/GYN residency - OH license required - Clean malpractice/licensure history preferred - Must have completed 50 deliveries in the past 12 months with at least 5 being C-sections
Working Hours - Rotating shifts with a 1:4 call rotation - Must report to the hospital within 30 minutes when on call
Skills - Proficiency in routine vaginal deliveries, decision-making for C-sections, and handling complicated deliveries - Ability to perform and interpret OB ultrasounds - Effective communication and teamwork skills within a hospital setting - Strong organizational skills to manage on-call responsibilities efficiently
