Join Our Team as a Locum OB/GYN in Bellefontaine, OH!
We are urgently seeking a dedicated OB/GYN physician to join our practice at a well-established hospital in Bellefontaine, Ohio. This facility boasts 45 staffed beds and an additional 20-room emergency department, serving an average of 360 births per year. With supportive nursing staff and advanced Meditech Expanse EMR for documentation and patient management, you will be part of a collaborative environment focused on high-quality care.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide locum coverage for open dates, particularly on 12/28, 12/29, and 1/5.
- Manage a 1:4 call rotation that includes weekdays and weekends.
- Deliver an average of one child per day with occasional high-risk deliveries (typically referred to tertiary centers).
- Perform routine deliveries, including vaginal, low forceps, and decision-making for C-sections.
- Interpret FHR (Fetal Heart Rate), NST, FSE, and perform Level I and II ultrasound screenings.
- Respond to emergencies with a 30-minute response time when on call.
Qualifications:
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in OB/GYN.
- Completion of an ACGME or AOA accredited residency in OB/GYN.
- At least 50 deliveries in the last 12 months, including a minimum of 5 C-sections.
- Clean malpractice and licensure history preferred.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Valid medical license in Ohio (OH).
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
