Coverage Needed
- Start Date: January 12, 2026
- Schedule: 24-hour on-call, 7 consecutive days, Monday 7am until the following Monday 7am
- Every third week
- Open Dates:
- Monday Jan 12 (7a) to Monday Jan 19 (7a)
- Monday Feb 2 (7a) to Monday Feb 9 (7a)
- Monday Feb 23 (7a) to Monday Mar 2 (7a)
- Monday Mar 16 (7a) to Monday Mar 23 (7a)
Clinical Details
- Call: Standby only, available to respond within 30 minutes
- No requirement to be in-house for any required period of time
- Approximately 4 call-ins when on call, although it varies (Approximately 1-2 would be for deliveries, The other call-ins would be for weekend discharges of the other providers’ patients, OB emergency/triage situations, etc)
- Deliver approximately 30-40 babies per month, but most are delivered by the local physician
- Patient Volume: 2
- EMR: ECW
- OB only, no gynecology
- Call: Responsible for all calls, including patients of the local providers
- The local physicians do their own deliveries for their own patients Monday 0700 until Friday at noon. So during those hours, the on-call physician is only called for “drop-in” and “unassigned” patients, which are infrequent
Requirements
- Board Certified
- DEA must remain in state to maintain privileges. Provider must be willing transfer and maintain DEA in state for the duration of privileges being active, or obtain a new in state DEA to remain in state for the duration of privileges being active
