Job Opportunity: Locum OB/GYN in Longmont, Colorado

Summary:
Join a well-established healthcare facility in Longmont, Colorado, seeking a locum OB/GYN to provide urgent coverage in December for emergency gynecology and obstetrics deliveries. This facility offers comprehensive care in a supportive environment, ensuring patient safety with its experienced team.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide care for GYN emergencies and obstetrics, including C-sections.
• Manage 24-hour call shifts (7a to 7a).
• Deliver care in inpatient and emergency room settings at a Trauma Level III facility.
• Complete required documentation and patient records using EPIC EMR.
• Coordinate with nursing staff and other healthcare providers for optimal patient care.
• Participate in approximately 9-10 shifts needed per month for locum support.
• Assist in managing gaps in coverage for continuous patient care.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified OB/GYN [REQUIRED]
• Active Colorado medical license or Active IMLC [REQUIRED]
• Active DEA [HIGHLY PREFERRED]
• Must be available for the specified dates outlined.
• Must commit to working 24-hour shifts [REQUIRED]
• Completion of EMR training requirements [REQUIRED]
• Clean malpractice record and background [REQUIRED]
• OB/GYN Residency [REQUIRED]
• Local/drive-in candidates preferred [HIGHLY PREFERRED]

License and Certification Requirements:

• Must hold an active Colorado medical license or IMLC.
• Board certification in OB/GYN.
• Active DEA license is highly preferred for credentialing.
