- Other details: The facility which is stroke-certified and trauma level 4 is looking for a provider to cover beeper call only. There are an average of 2-4 patients per shift and 8 beds in the department. Locums coverage is needed beginning in October for most weekends, subject to the availability of other local OB/GYNs, with an expectation of approximately 9–10 call days per month. Call coverage will run from noon on Friday through 7:00 a.m. on Monday.

Job Responsibilities
* Respond to inpatient consults and patient needs during call coverage
* Manage an average patient volume of 2–4 patients per shift
* Collaborate with on-site clinical staff to ensure safe and timely patient care
* Maintain accurate documentation using the designated EMR system
Qualifications
* Board-certified or board-eligible
* Active and unrestricted Texas state medical license
* Ability to provide call-only inpatient coverage
* Eligible for and able to complete credentialing within a 30–45 day timeframe
Working Hours
* Call-only coverage
* Weekend call coverage beginning in October for most weekends, subject to availability
* Expected 9–10 call days per month
* Call runs from noon on Friday through 7:00 a.m. on Monday
Skills
* Ability to manage low to moderate inpatient volumes independently
* Effective communication with nursing and hospital staff
* Familiarity with Athena and Medhost EMR systems or ability to learn quickly
* Reliable availability and responsiveness while on call
