Blackfeet Community Hospital in Browning, Montana, is seeking an experienced OB/GYN Physician (MD/DO) for a long-term locum tenens contract. Job Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care across all stages of life
Manage prenatal care, labor & delivery, and postpartum care
Perform gynecologic procedures and surgeries within granted privileges
Participate in OB and emergency on-call coverage as assigned
Collaborate with nursing, midwifery, and interdisciplinary care teams
Educate and counsel patients on reproductive health and family planning
Document all encounters in compliance with federal and facility guidelines
Participate in quality improvement and peer review activities
Additional duties as needed
Qualifications
MD or DO with Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Obstetrics & Gynecology
Minimum 2–3 years of post-residency OB/GYN experience
Active, unrestricted U.S. medical license (any state accepted)
Active DEA registration
Current certifications required:
BLS, ACLS, NRP
Previous locum tenens and/or IHS experience preferred
Must be a U.S. citizen residing primarily in the United States
Ability to complete credentialing within 10 days of offer acceptance
Must successfully complete federal background and security clearance
