Job description We are seeking an experienced Obstetrician/Gynecologist for a 13-day locum tenens assignment in Tennessee. This opportunity begins on Mar 13, 2026, and features 24-hour call shifts from 7a to 7a across several multi-day blocks in March and April. The ideal candidate will be confident handling a variety of obstetrics and gynecology cases and procedures.

  • Schedule: 24-hour call shifts (7a-7a) on Mar 13-16, Mar 27-30, Apr 10-13, and Apr 24-27

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Provide comprehensive inpatient and call coverage for obstetrics and gynecology cases
  • Manage labor and delivery, surgical, and emergent gynecological procedures
  • Respond to consults and emergencies as required during call
  • Document all patient care activities accurately using the Cerner EMR system
  • Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure continuity of care

Additional Information
  • Must hold an active Tennessee medical license
  • Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology required
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required
  • Proficiency with Cerner EMR preferred
  • Must be comfortable with a variety of obstetric and gynecological procedures
