About the Position
Exciting opportunity for a Board-Certified OB/GYN to join as a Locum to Perm Associate Medical Director in Dallas, TX! Take a hands-on leadership role overseeing clinical activities while guiding patient care excellence across a large, managed care environment. (21805)

๐ฉโโ๏ธ Responsibilities:

Review prior authorization and appeals requests for procedures, medications, and hospital stays โ

Conduct peer-to-peer calls to support utilization management
-
Provide clinical oversight for utilization, disease management, and quality initiatives
-
Assist in pharmacy benefit management and fraud, waste, and abuse oversight
-
Develop and monitor medical policies, clinical standards, and provider performance metrics ๐

Represent the organization in state and local clinical activities
-
Chair or participate in managed care and interdisciplinary committees
๐ป Skills & Expertise Required:

Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills ๐ฃ๏ธ

Familiarity with managed care principles and Texas Medicaid Regulations
-
Ability to oversee multi-disciplinary teams and support population health initiatives

Detail-oriented, patient-centered approach with hands-on problem-solving

Experience in prior authorization and managed care utilization review

Board-Certified in OB/GYN (required, no exceptions)

Active Texas medical license (or willingness to obtain)

Clean malpractice/license history highly preferred

Experience in managed care, prior authorization, and utilization management
