About the Position

Join a hospital-based team at Sierra Nevada Memorial Hospital with a dedicated Family Birthing Center (L&D) and make an immediate impact on maternal care! (21805)

📅 Assignment Details:

• Urgent Dates: Dec 2025 & ongoing into 2026

• Jan 5-11 | Jan 14-15 | Jan 19-25

• Feb 11-12 | Feb 14-20

• Mar 16-22

• Setting: Hospital OB/GYN / Family Birthing Center with dedicated OR for C-sections

• Call Coverage: ED and OB/GYN related issues

👩‍⚕️ Key Duties & Procedures:

• Deliveries (average 25-40 per month) 🤱

• C-sections

• OB/GYN procedures (surgical and non-surgical)

• Emergency OB/GYN coverage

• Cerner EMR

💻 Support Team:

• Anesthesiologists (on-call)

• General Surgeons & Pediatrician on-call

• 3 local OB/GYNs + 1 Family Medicine OB

• Skilled Respiratory Therapists

📝 Credentialing Requirements:

• Board Certified/Board Eligible in OB/GYN ✅

• CA Medical License ✅

• DEA ✅

• Clean malpractice preferred

• Minimum 10 days credentialing from completed application

• Proctoring for deliveries and surgical procedures as per facility guidelines

🏨 Travel & Lodging:

• Preferred lodging: GoldMiner’s Inn

• Mileage reimbursed per IRS rate
