Obstetrics and Gynecology Opportunity in Urbana, Illinois

Join a dedicated team delivering comprehensive OB/GYN care at a leading facility in Urbana, Illinois. This is a fantastic opportunity for a BE/BC Obstetrician and Gynecologist to engage with a high-risk, Level 3 Perinatal unit. If you're seeking a role with a balance of OB and GYN or prefer an OB-dominant practice, this could be the perfect fit. Opportunities include General OB/GYN, OB Hospitalist, or strictly In-House Call coverage 7 days a month.



Practice Overview

  • Join a team of 7 General OB/GYNs, 6 OB Hospitalists, 12 Midwives, and 8 Advanced Practice Providers
  • Collaborate with a full spectrum of support services, including 24/7 MFM and Neonatology coverage
  • Engage in a practice focusing on OB-specific services within an established multi-specialty group
  • Work alongside experienced leaders in an evolving practice environment


Schedule

  • 24-hour in-house call coverage, with 4 shifts per month
  • Average 4-5 clinic days weekly, including dedicated OR time
  • Flexible start times for clinic, offering a balance of patient-facing and procedural time
  • Post-call days off for enhanced work-life balance


Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary range: $375,000 to $425,000 with additional wRVU earning potential
  • Incentives include $1,800 per call shift, and $4,800 per shift beyond the standard call requirement
  • Comprehensive benefits package including malpractice coverage and retirement plans

Candidate Requirements

  • BE/BC in Obstetrics and Gynecology
  • Comfortable with high-risk obstetrics and a variety of GYN procedures
  • Interest in participating in residency education and academic activities
  • Flexibility to adapt practice focus based on patient and community needs
