Locum Tenens OB/GYN Opportunity – North Carolina
Position: Board-Certified OB/GYN Physician
Location: Beautiful, charming area of North Carolina
Setting: Hospital + hospital-owned practice
Coverage Needed
-
Monday–Wednesday: Clinic 8:00am – 5:00pm (lunch 12–1pm)

Thursday: 24-hour onsite call coverage (7:00am – 7:00am)

Friday: No shift
-
Weekend: 24-hour onsite call coverage (Saturday & Sunday, 7:00am – 7:00am)
Call Details:

Separate OB/GYN and CNM call room in L&D
-
Average 2–3 deliveries per 24-hour shift
-
Facility-employed CNM on shift for full 24 hours
Schedule & Patient Volume
-
Clinic: 6–10 patients for half day, 15–20 patients for full day
-
Daily patient volume: 15–20
-
Patient age group: primarily adults, some under 18 OB/GYN patients
Work Environment
-
Support staff: Clinical/clerical team + nurses in L&D
-
Procedures in office: LEEP, endometrial biopsies, colposcopy, IUD insertions (dedicated procedure room)

Equipment: In-office lab + 2 ultrasound rooms with full-time sonographers

EMR: EPIC (required)
Candidate Requirements

Board Certification: OB/GYN (required)

License: Active NC medical license (DEA required)

Certifications: BLS
-
Skills: Comfortable in rural OB/GYN setting with busy office + L&D floor
