Job description
24-hour OB/GYN call coverage including deliveries, C-sections, and ED OB/GYN emergencies. High-volume L&D with 25–40 deliveries/month. EMR: Cerner. Multiple urgent dates in Dec 2025 and throughout 2026. Call includes 4 gratis hours with average callback 4–6 hours.
Job Responsibilities
Vaginal deliveries & C-sections
ED coverage for OB/GYN emergencies
Manage inpatient obstetric and gynecologic cases
Perform all standard OB/GYN procedures
Collaborate with anesthesia, pediatrics, surgery, and nursing teams
Qualifications
Active CA Medical License – Required
DEA (must be active before credentialing) – Required
Clean malpractice preferred
Must provide availability at name clear
Must meet procedure volume requirements (100 GYN surgeries in past 24 months OR residency logs)
Must complete proctoring (deliveries & GYN cases as outlined)
