Opportunity Highlights
- Schedule: 8am-5pm Monday through Friday for OBGYN clinical services with OBGYN hospital call coverage approximately 7-10 days per month. Call includes Monday-Friday night call and 24-hour on-call on weekends.
- Job Setting: Hospital system with clinical services. 25-30 patient encounters per shift. Trauma Level 3 facility.
- Types of Cases: Low risk and high risk pregnancy, routine and complicated deliveries (vaginal, low forceps, c-section, breech, multiple births, abruptions, VBACs), FHR interpretation, OB ultrasounds (Level I/Screening required, Level II/Targeted preferred), office/minor gynecology (IUD, cystoscopy, colposcopy, cryosurgery, LEEP), surgical gynecology (open, laparoscopic), repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations.
- Credentialing: 90 days. Providers with active Baptist privileges preferred. Emergency privileges require clean malpractice.
Minimum Requirements
- Board Certified/Board Eligible: Board Certified required
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS
- Licensure: Texas license required (IMLC not accepted)
