Job Details

- Provider Type Needed: Obstetrician/Gynecologist
- Schedule: Clinic Monday-Friday 8am-5pm; 24-hour call coverage from 5pm to 7am. Specific coverage dates include:
- Mar 4 PM – Mar 10 AM
- Mar 25 PM – Mar 30 AM
- Apr 22 PM – Apr 27 AM
- Apr 29 PM – May 4 PM
- May 27 PM – Jun 1 AM
Responsibilities and Duties
- Perform vaginal deliveries and C-section deliveries (with or without vacuum assistance)
- Manage high-risk deliveries
- Conduct D&C procedures
- Insert and manage Nexplanon and IUD contraceptive devices
- Perform Pap smears and colposcopies
- Conduct circumcisions and vasectomies
- Perform LEEP procedures and related OB/GYN interventions
- Provide comprehensive care in a rural and FQHC environment
Additional Information
- Must be licensed to practice medicine in California
- Required certifications: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- Required board certification: Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Background in rural medicine, high-risk deliveries, and FQHC experience preferred
