The women’s health program offers comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care, including routine and high-risk obstetrics, gynecologic surgery, preventive care, family planning, and minimally invasive procedures. The environment is collaborative, supportive, and aligned with evidence-based standards.

Position Summary

The organization is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible OBGYN Physician to join its growing women’s health team in the New Haven area.

This full-time, permanent role includes a mix of outpatient clinic, labor & delivery coverage, and gynecologic surgery. The physician will join a well-established team of OBGYN providers, midwives, nurses, and support staff who work together to deliver high-quality, compassionate care.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive obstetric care, including prenatal visits, labor & delivery management, and postpartum services

  • Diagnose and treat gynecologic conditions for patients across a wide age range

  • Perform in-office procedures and gynecologic surgeries (including minimally invasive techniques)

  • Collaborate with certified nurse midwives, nursing staff, and multidisciplinary specialists

  • Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR and adhere to evidence-based clinical guidelines

  • Participate in call rotation, quality improvement initiatives, and team-based case discussions

  • Engage in continuous learning and stay current with advancements in obstetrics and gynecology

Qualifications

  • Education: MD or DO degree from an accredited institution

  • Licensure: Board Certified/Board Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology; eligible for Connecticut licensure

  • Training: Completion of an ACGME-accredited OBGYN residency program

  • Experience: All experience levels welcome; new graduates are encouraged to apply
