Locums | OB/GYN | 24-Hour Call | Bardstown, KY Why This Role

  • Coverage needed due to a provider resignation
  • Rural inpatient OB/GYN service with steady delivery volume
  • 24-hour call schedule, ongoing needs into 2026
Assignment Details Start Date: December 20–25, 2025 End Date: Ongoing in 2026 Setting: Inpatient Schedule: 24-hour call Estimated Deliveries: ~30 per month Reason for Coverage: Provider resignation EMR: Epic Clinical Details Duties include patient rounding, management of labors, antepartum triage, ER consults, and general OB/GYN inpatient care Required procedures include labors, deliveries, C-sections, management of maternal hypertension and hemorrhage, D&C, ablations, hysterectomy, and urgent gynecologic surgeries Support Staff: RNs on labor & delivery No midwives Admissions per day: Varies Requirements Board Certified Active state license ACLS and DEA required during credentialing Clean malpractice history highly preferred Must be available for required dates Compensation Rates: Facility is accepting bids Malpractice: Provided Travel: Reimbursed
