Are you a dedicated OB/GYN seeking flexible locum opportunities with impactful shifts during peak holiday seasons? We are seeking a highly skilled physician to provide urgent coverage at a Level III Trauma Emergency Department, ensuring continuity of care for obstetric and gynecological emergencies. In this role, you'll deliver comprehensive obstetric and gynecological care, including emergency procedures and C-sections, within a dynamic inpatient setting supported by experienced RN staff. The position involves 24-hour call shifts, primarily during holiday periods, with schedules designed to prevent provider fatigue and enhance patient safety. This is an excellent opportunity for physicians looking to contribute their expertise during critical times while maintaining flexibility in their schedule.

Required Skills:
  • Valid and active medical license to practice OB/GYN in Colorado.
  • Proven experience managing obstetric emergencies, including C-sections.
  • Strong skills in GYN emergency procedures.
  • Ability to work 24-hour shifts reliably and independently.
  • Proficiency with EPIC EMR system.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Prior experience in Level III Trauma settings.
  • Familiarity with hospital-based emergency response protocols.
  • Bilingual capabilities or additional language proficiency.
  • Training or certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant clinical experience in obstetrics and gynecology.
  • Previous locum or hospital-based experience preferred but not mandatory.

Other Requirements:
  • Willingness to stay at the designated Hampton Inn in Longmont, CO, or adhere to travel policies if accommodations are unavailable.
  • Availability to commence on December 8, 2025, with ongoing shifts as scheduled.
  • Completion of all credentialing, EMR training, and required documentation within specified timelines.
  • Ability to work up to 10 shifts per month, with shifts generally limited to 2-3 days to promote provider well-being.
  • Travel is local or within driving distance, primarily for local candidates.
