VHS is looking for a qualified Physician - OB/GYN.

- Description: LOCUM- OBGYN *Note please ignore Dec start on PD attached.* We have put a February start date on this job but I wanted to note it could be closer to the March dates if we can not get privileging through fast. Meaning we need providers to turn around RFA and application quickly. We do have locums who may be able to pick up some dates so if there are changes to the dates below. I'll be sure to update the job so you are aware and communicate to candidates. JOB DETAILS: We need OBGYN call coverage in February ongoing for the first 2 weeks a month. Specific dates are below that we have so far, but may adjust a bit depending on what current locums/providers can pick up: - 2/11 6am- 2/14 6am - 3/11 6am- 3/15 6am - 4/1 6am- 4/15 6am - 5/1 6am- 5/17 6am Provider will not be inhouse, will just be on 24hr call between 6am-6am with a response time of 30 minutes if needed in person. Please note billing of call back only applies when the provider physically goes back into the hospital. Prefer a clean file for privileging to go faster, but not required. REQUIRED: - CA license is required - Must be board certified or truly Board Eligible. - Certified in BLS and NRP - Miscarriage Management OTHER NOTES: - Please note that the privileging timeline will not begin until the RFA and application are turned back in. Typical turn around for RFA is 48-72 hours. Application should be submitted within 5 days. - Typical privileging timeline is 90 days. - Once the file is completed, we can look at temporary privilege eligibility. - All specialties require 2 years of current Hospital clinical activity in the specialty. - Gaps greater than 3 months must be explained. - Include current number of case logs upon presentation for surgical specialties.
- 1099 Pay Rate: Competitive Market Rates (W-2 Pay Packages available upon request)
- Certification Requirements: Please confirm credential requirements with VHS upon application.
