$222/Hour | Associate Medical Director - OB/GYN | Dallas, TX | Locum to Perm | AGSS

Location: Dallas, TX
Type: Full-time (No 1099, No Visa Candidates)

Key Responsibilities

• Review prior authorizations and appeals for medical necessity.

• Conduct peer-to-peer calls and support utilization management.

• Oversee clinical components of UM, QM, DM, pharmacy, and fraud/waste/abuse programs.

• Develop and update medical policies, coverage guidelines, and clinical standards.

• Analyze provider performance and participate in credentialing reviews.

• Provide oversight of pharmacy benefits in coordination with Pharmacy Director.

• Represent PCHP with state and regulatory bodies as assigned.

• Support education programs for members and providers.

• Participate in process improvement, workflow optimization, and clinical committees.

• Maintain compliance with Texas Medicaid regulations and accreditation standards.

• Participate in budgeting, goal-setting, staff supervision, and department leadership.

Required Skills & Abilities

• Strong understanding of managed care, UM, population health, and care coordination.

• Knowledge of Texas Medicaid regulations.

• Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and administrative skills.

• Ability to interpret treatment plans, review clinical evidence, and uphold quality standards.

• Comfortable managing confidential information and working under pressure.

• Computer literacy and ability to work with diverse groups.

• Detail-oriented with a hands-on approach and strong analytical mindset
